Dollond & Aitchison (D&A) was one of Britain’s most prestigious optical houses, with origins dating back to the 18th century (1750’S). After 265 years, D&A frames are no longer an available as the brand retired. Purchased in1980s, these flex hinge Eyelites optical frames, new “old stock” (NOS) and never worn. The frames feature a rich multi-tone tortoiseshell finish (C3 Multi) blending warm browns, amber, oxblood red, and subtle plum tones. The coloration has depth and variation. Inside temple marking reads:
