Vintage Carlisle Black Patent Leather Belt, Wide Belt Made 。This is a vintage-style black/coffee leather wide waist belt adorned with layered antique brass metal scales, evoking a bohemian or fish-scale aesthetic. The unique and often copied boho minimalist belt is layered with overlapping antique brass discs. All the discs are present, none are loose or missing. The grommets are strong and in excellent condition. A rounded horseshoe-shaped antique brass prong buckle is sourced in Italy and is a Bohemian, western statement piece, or 1970s/1980s retro disco glam. Originally shown with hip hugger type jeans or belting an oversized sweater or top. The belt is 42 inches long 3 inches wide. The buckle holes are at the last 6 inches of the leather. There is one additional hole that was added by a cobbler for a smaller fit. The size is medium large. Very few of these belts were made. The workmanship to perfectly set the discs define this artisan collectible.
